The Task

Residential & Commercial Framing

Setsquare Construction was proud to have collaborated with our esteemed clients, BlueCity Construction, on a remarkable project, "The Granary," situated in the heart of Boundary Bay, Tsawwassen, within the Southlands community. As the chosen framers for this project, we were honoured to have contributed to the construction of a landmark mixed-use building with incredible vision of integration of people, food, and farmland.

Framing It Up

Our involvement in this project encompassed framing services for a one-level concrete parkade and three floors of wood frame construction above. Each floor was thoughtfully designed to provide not only structural integrity but also spacious private outdoor spaces, creating a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal.

As this landmark project took shape, we were honored to have contributed to the creation of a space that not only stood as a structural marvel but also fostered a sense of community within Southlands Tsawwassen.

Completion

Residential & Commercial Framing

In the end, Setsquare Construction framed The Granary, a mixed-use building in Southlands, which encompassed a one-level concrete parkade and three wood-framed floors. The project included a ground-floor Four Winds restaurant and brewery, and 35 residential units on the second and third floors, each with spacious private outdoor spaces. Setsquare's framing work contributed to creating a natural sense of place within The Granary, aiming to transform the Market Avenue district into a central social and recreational hub, all centered within the landscape of the Southlands Market Square.
